Klättermusen Brede 2.0 Jacket Women raven

Brede is designed with special emphasis on winter tours and expeditions. This is the jacket that professional guides use because it can take a lot of wear and tear. Brede is cut to allow warm clothing underneath. Internal and external storm flaps protect the zipper. Closures adapted for use with mittens. Duracoat reinforced against abrasion in exposed areas. Combined with Freke Salopettes it forms an expedition level suit. The fabric is 3L Cutan Super Stretch and the jacket is Fluorocarbon-free.

Cutan Super Stretch
Cutan Super Stretch consists of three layers: an inside layer in polyamide, a waterproof polyurethane membrane in the middle and an outer fabric of polyamide and stretch fiber. The three fabric layers are laminated together into one single fabric.

Duracoat
Duracoat is a unique surface treatment that has been developed by Klättermusen to improve durability. It is a coating that is mainly used on sensitive areas such as shoulders or elbows, where it increases abrasion resistance by up to five times. The Duracoat treatment is very soft and flexible. Since no additional seams or layers of material are required, it improves the durability of the product without increasing the weight. Klättermusen has been using Duracoat for many years.

Windstretch
WindStretch is a softshell fabric with outstanding abrasion resistance and stretch to allow big movements. Well-suited for high-intensity activities the material also is ventilating, moisture wicking and dries quickly. WindStretch has very good wind resistance and KLättermusen uses it in softshell products where flexibility and durability are important. WindStrech will retain its visual appearance even after heavy use without losing color or pilling. WindStretch fabrics are bluesign approved.
